Katerina Ivanova joined the FAR team in the summer of 2021 as an expert in projects and programmes.
She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in International relations and a Master’s degree in European projects from the Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
She has 7 years of experience in Bulgarian NGOs and an international network of organisations in the field of alternative care for vulnerable groups of children and youth. In this period she gained experience working on various projects in the field of education, alternative care for children and youth, patient’s rights and women’s rights.
She is one of the founders of the Endometriosis and Reproductive Health Foundation, the first patient organisation providing support to women with endometriosis in Bulgaria.
