The Foundation for Access to Rights - FAR is implementing the project "Access to Employment for Refugees and Migrants", funded by the Bulgarian Fund for Women. Within the framework of the project, FAR will work to increase the knowledge and awareness of job seekers and workers about their own labour and social security rights and to raise the awareness of employers in the country about the opportunities and requirements for employing refugees and migrants. In this way, FAR will contribute to the successful social inclusion of these groups in Bulgarian society. Information sessions are foreseen for both job seekers and workers from the refugee and migrant communities and for employers.
The first information session in the project took place on 30 October in the hall of our partners from the Open Doors Situation Centre.
Lawyer. Yanka Kosarova from FAR presented the topics:
rights and responsibilities of workers in Bulgaria;
what you need to start a job;
starting your own business in Bulgaria and other important topics.
Nearly 50 participants took part in the info session with great interest and questions to the speaker. FAR provided translation in Ukrainian, Arabic, Farsi and Pashto.
