The Foundation for Access to Rights (FAR) participated in the annual in-person meeting of the "Compass" Network of Protection and Inclusion Centres – a joint initiative between UNHCR Bulgaria and partners in six refugee-hosting cities in Bulgaria, covering Sofia, Plovdiv, Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, and Harmanli.

The meeting took place in Plovdiv on November 19-21, 2025.

Adv. Yanka Kosarova from FAR delivered a key presentation on "Methodology for Identification and Protection of Refugees who are Survivors of Gender-Based Violence", in which she presented the methodological materials prepared by FAR under the "From Victim to Victor" Project, funded by Български фонд за жените / Bulgarian Fund for Women, including:

- Identification of the victim

- Assessment of needs

- Individual case management plan

We continue working to increase effectiveness and coordination in support of refugees in Bulgaria.
