Candidate Requirements:
- Education: University degree in Law or International Relations;
- Ability to identify current topics relevant to refugee communities;
- Excellent writing and information synthesis skills;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines;
- Excellent written command of Bulgarian and English;
- Solid experience in data analysis;
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office, Google cloud space, etc.;
- Knowledge and experience in working with refugees and refugee and migration law are advantages;
- Knowledge and experience in labor law are advantages;
- Experience using data collection and analysis applications is an advantage;
- Experience in writing legal articles in plain language for a non-specialized audience is an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal information materials, including preparing content for informational articles published on the Refugeelight.Bg, Statelessness.bg, and FAR's Refugee Employment Platform.
- Assisting the chief editors of the Refugeelight.Bg and Statelessness.Bg websites and the Coordinator of the Refugee Employment Platform in identifying suitable topics based on the needs of the individuals concerned.
- Reporting to the chief editor on identified information needs of refugee-migrant communities.
- Researching legal regulations and case law on various legal issues, as well as analyzing the gathered information.
- Drafting and updating the content of informational articles published weekly;
- Analyzing statistical data related to FAR's Refugee Employment Platform
- Participation in regular team meetings.
