Boyanka Hristeva joined the team in January 2020. She holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." During her studies, she started doing a second major in law.
Boyanka has participated in Erasmus+ exchange for the winter semester of the 2018/2019 academic year at the Mikolas Romeris Univerity in Vilnus. There, she took courses in refugee law, legal protection of human rights and international humanitarian law, which sparked her interest in human rights.
In September 2019 she took part in the summer school of human rights, organized by the Sofia university law department, on the topic of the right to life and the relation between human rights and international humanitarian law.
Boyanka is a member of the European Law Students Association in Bulgaria (ELSA). She also took part in the Sofia university team at the 2020 European Human Rights Moot Court Competition (EHRMCC).
